How to Play

Five Card Draw

Every player is dealt five cards face down and antes into the pot via small and big blinds. After a round of betting, each player still in the hand may discard up to three cards and draw replacements. A second round of betting follows, then the best five-card hand at showdown wins the pot.

Betting

No-limit: bet or raise any amount up to your full stack. A raise must be at least as large as the previous bet or raise, unless you're going all-in for less.

The Draw

Discard 0–3 cards. Standing pat (discarding nothing) is a legal, sometimes deliberately deceptive, choice.

Hand Ranking (high to low)

Royal Flush, Straight Flush, Four of a Kind, Full House, Flush, Straight, Three of a Kind, Two Pair, Pair, High Card.
