How to Play Tripeaks Solitaire
Play any exposed card that is one rank higher or lower than the current card. Suits and colours do not matter.
A card becomes exposed when both cards covering it have been removed.
Kings and Aces connect in both directions. You can play a Queen or an Ace on a King, and a King or a 2 on an Ace.
Tap the stock to turn a new current card. You have 23 draws and no redeals.
Playing tableau cards consecutively builds a scoring streak. Each card scores the new streak value, so four plays in a row score 1, then 2, then 3, then 4 points. Drawing from the stock resets the streak to zero.
A green dot marks a playable card that will uncover another card when removed.
Tripeaks Solitaire Strategy and Tips
Expose new cards
When you have a choice, look for a move that uncovers another tableau card. A covered card becomes available only after both cards blocking it have been removed.
Build longer streaks
Each consecutive tableau play scores one point more than the last. Drawing from the stock resets the streak, so look for a chain of plays before choosing your next card.
Check all three peaks
Before drawing from the stock, scan the exposed cards across the whole tableau. A playable card on another peak might extend your streak and save a stock card.
Remember the King and Ace connection
In this version, a King can be played on an Ace and an Ace on a King. That can help you continue a sequence that would otherwise appear to end.
Make use of available moves
There are no redeals, so you see each stock card only once. Think carefully before passing up a playable tableau card: after your next draw, the waste card may no longer connect to it.
Look beneath your next move
If two cards are playable, check what each will uncover. Removing the final blocker from a covered card may reveal the rank you need to continue playing.

How many cards are in the stock?
There are 24 cards in the stock. The other 28 cards form the tableau. Stock cards give you a new waste card when you need one, but you can pass through the stock only once.
Is TriPeaks the same as Tri Towers?
TriPeaks is also commonly called Tri Towers or Three Peaks. The names refer to the three-part tableau, although individual versions may have different rules.
Can every TriPeaks game be won?
No. Some deals cannot be cleared. The stock order is fixed and there are no redeals, so the cards you need may not become available at the right time. Losing does not necessarily mean you missed a move.
How is TriPeaks different from Pyramid Solitaire?
TriPeaks removes exposed cards by playing a rank above or below the waste card. Pyramid removes pairs whose values total 13. In these versions, TriPeaks has one pass through its stock, while Pyramid allows two redeals.
Does my scoring streak carry over to the next game?
No. A streak counts consecutive tableau plays in the current game. It resets when you start a new deal.
