Instructions
Player and Banker receive two cards each. A hand’s value is the last digit of its total, so a 7 and an 8 add up to 15 but count as 5. Aces count as 1, tens and picture cards count as 0, and other cards count their printed value.
If either hand has a two-card total of 8 or 9, it is a natural and both hands stand. Otherwise, Player draws on 0 to 5 and stands on 6 or 7. Banker follows a fixed drawing table based on its own total and, if Player drew, the value of Player’s third card. Neither you nor the dealer chooses whether to draw.
The hand with the higher total wins. If the totals tie, Player and Banker bets push and their stakes are returned.
A winning Player bet pays 1:1. A winning Banker bet pays 0.95:1 after a 5% commission on the profit. For example, a $20 Banker bet wins $19. A Tie bet pays 8:1.
Player Pair and Banker Pair side bets pay 10:1 if the named hand’s first two cards have the same rank. A third card does not count.
The game uses eight standard 52-card decks. Cards are dealt Player, Banker, Player, Banker. A new shoe begins when fewer than 20 cards remain, and the results history starts again with that shoe.
You must stake at least $1 in total on Player, Banker or Tie. The combined total of all bets cannot exceed $2,000. Pair bets require a bet on Player, Banker or Tie.

Focus on the bet you choose
Punto Banco has no playing decisions after you place your bet. Player and Banker are names of hands dealt by the table, not seats you control.
Understand the Banker commission
Banker wins slightly more often under the fixed drawing rules, but a winning Banker bet pays 0.95:1 after commission. A $10 Banker bet therefore wins $9.50.
Be cautious with Tie
Tie pays 8:1, but ties occur much less often than Player or Banker wins. If the hands tie, Player and Banker bets push, so those stakes are returned.
Treat Pair bets as separate bets
Player Pair and Banker Pair each pay 10:1 when the selected hand’s first two cards share a rank. A third card cannot complete a pair, and the Pair result is separate from the main bet.
Do not follow streaks blindly
The results history shows what has happened, but a run of Player or Banker wins does not guarantee the next result. Choose your stake with that uncertainty in mind.
